May 2020: EML is partnering with American Institute of Research (AIR) , to conduct a base line study on literacy, health, and nutrition levels of school children. The study will evaluate the impacts of the project: ‘Promoting Autonomy for Literacy and Attentiveness through Market Alliances (PALAM/A)’ implemented by Save the Children (SC) in response to the nutrition and sanitation challenges in Sri Lanka. The study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods in a sampling of Grade 3 students randomly selected from schools in 7 Districts in Sri Lanka.
