This Project Preparatory Technical Assistance (PPTA) was to facilitate sustainable development in disadvantaged districts in Sri Lanka, with the focus on improved basic water supply and sanitation infrastructure. capacity development assistance for institutionalizing mechanisms for sustainable community-based infrastructure development. EML was responsible for capacity building of program NGOs and CBOs in initiating and subsequent operation and maintenanace of community based water supply projects. Also conducted poverty and social analysis (guided by ADB’s hand book on Poverty and Social Analysis - ADB 2001)
