Project : Mangrove Management Plans for Mangrove Areas Associated with Negombo, Chilaw and Puttalam Lagoons

The project is under the Regional Fisheries Livelihood Project (RFLP) which promotes improved habitat management through greater community participation. The activities included awareness programs and implementation strategies for community participation in the utilization, conservation, and rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems. Series of training and education programs were implemented including continuous monitoring and adaptation of management plan.
