Project : Feasibility Studies for the Development of Three Fisheries Harbours

These harbors in Gurunagar-Jaffna, Silawathura – Mannar , and Gandara – Matara were to be developed to serve deep sea going vessels (Long Liners) and to be equipped with modern shore infrastructure facilities including quay walls, auction halls, slipways, fuel and water facilities, ice production and storage facilities, administrative buildings, etc. EML conducted Pre-feasibility assessments, consultations with stakeholders including line ministries and authorities; MFARD, CFHC.
Carryout hydro-graphic surveys, Geo-technical investigations, environmental parameters (water and sediment quality, etc and development of designs and harbor layouts, including breakwater sections.
